Cà Due leoni is in an ideal position to be reached for who arrives by plane, train, car or boats.
For who's traveling by plane
From Marco Polo Airport (VCE)
It is possible to reach us both by land and by water.
By Land
The "Piazzale Roma" bus terminal is reached from Marco Polo Airport (VCE) by taxi or by public transport ATVO bus (direct line) or ACTV waterbus line (intermediate stops). From "Piazzale Roma" the easiest way on foot is the following: cross "Costituzione Bridge" and go straight ahead until you reach "Guglie Bridge", DO NOT CROSS the bridge, but turn left and walk down the bank of the "Cannaregio Canal" until you come to "Crea Bridge". Cross the boardwalk situated on the left hand side of the "Crea Bridge", then turn left and immediately on your right you will find the small square "Campiello della Pazienza" where Ca’ Due Leoni is located.
By Water
On leaving the airport, follow the signs for the Darsena (Pier) on the left (5 minutes on foot) where you can take either a water taxi bound for the hotel, getting off at the "Canal di Cannaregio – Rio della Crea stop" (approx. € 110), or an Alilaguna waterbus, the orange line stops at "Guglie Bridge" (€ 15).Cross "Guglie Bridge" and go up the bank on the left hand side of the canal until you get to "Crea Bridge", cross the boardwalk situated beside of the "Crea Bridge", then turn left and immediately on your right you will find the small square "Campiello della Pazienza" where Ca’ Due Leoni is located.
From Canova Treviso Airport (TSF)
The "Piazzale Roma" bus terminal is reached from the Treviso Casanova Airport (TSF) taking the public ATVO bus line (direct bus € 7). From "Piazzale Roma" you can reach our hotel on foot (approx. 10 minutes) or by waterbus taking line 4.2 and getting off at "Crea" stop or line 5.2, getting off at "Tre Archi" stop (€ 7).
By foot from Piazzale Roma you have to cross Costituzione Bridge and go straight ahead until you reach Guglie "Bridge", DO NOT CROSS the bridge, but turn left and walk down the bank of the Cannaregio Canal until you come to "Crea Bridge". Cross the boardwalk situated on the left hand side of the "Crea Bridge", then turn left and immediately on your right you will find the small square "Campiello della Pazienza" where Ca’ Due Leoni is located.
For who's traveling by train
From "Santa Lucia" Railway Station, you can reach the hotel in 7 minutes on foot without crossing any bridges. Otherwise it is possible to take the waterbus line 4.2 as far as "Crea" stop (€ 7) or water taxi getting off at the "Cannareggio Canal – Rio de la Crea" (€ 40).
By foot from "Santa Lucia" Railway Sation once out of the staion turn left and go straight ahead, until you come to "Guglie Bridge", DO NOT CROSS the bridge, but turn left and walk down the bank of the Cannaregio Canal until you come to "Crea Bridge". Cross the boardwalk situated on the left hand side of the "Crea Bridge", then turn left and immediately on your right you will find the small square "Campiello della Pazienza" where Ca’ Due Leoni is located.
For who's traveling by car
On arriving by car from A57, A4 or A27 motorways, exit at Venice toll both, drive along the bypass and follow the signs for Venice. After 3 km go through "Ponte della Libertà" (pay attention to speeds limits) and at the end of the bridge, after the traffic light, you will arrive in "Piazzale Roma".
You can park your car in the Public Parking Garage "Autorimessa Comunale", or at Tronchetto Parking which is adjacent to "Piazzale Roma" and you can reach it by turning right the traffic light.
By foot from "Piazzale Roma" crossing "Costituzione Bridge" and go straight ahead until you reach "Guglie Bridge", DO NOT CROSS the bridge, but turn left and walk down the bank of the Cannaregio Canal until you come to "Crea Bridge". Cross the boardwalk situated on the left hand side of the "Crea Bridge", then turn left and immediately on your right you will find the small square "Campiello della Pazienza" where Ca’ Due Leoni is located.
From Tronchetto Parking you can take the People Mover (€ 1,30) to "Piazzale Roma" and then continue as written above or take line 2 ACTV waterbus as far as the Railway Station and then continue as indicated in "For who's traveling by train" section.
